Bone Casing 7/8" Black - 5 Yards
5 Yard Piece of Bone Casing. Dye Variations. 40% off Regular Price.
Black cotton (slight variations in dye lot) double sided tubular casing to enclose white bone or spiral boning. Slightly wider than pictured. Area on sides to sew down is wider, casing interior is the same.
7/8" wide (to accommodate 1/2" boning). Slightly wider than our regular casing sold by the yard and on full rolls. These are end pieces from a discontinued item we used to carry.
You're sewing the casing on the inside anyway. Take advantage of these end pieces while they last. They are slightly wider than the regular casing but still fit a 1/2" piece of boning well. You can also sew down the center to insert two pieces of 1/4" boning side by side.
We find this to be the most ideal and easy way to secure your boning... poke resistant and very sturdy! If you use boning, you should be using bone casing for optimum protection against "pop-throughs"!
