Flat Reed is a great stiffener for those who want to use true period supplies! Reed boning was used in corsets dating around the 16th Century. This boning is lightweight and allows air to move through the corset while its being worn and conforms very comfortably to the body.
Flat Reed is lighter weight and more flexible than Flat Oval Reed. There is approximately twice as much boning in this coil than in the Flat Oval.
