Ageless Patterns are reproductions from actual 1800's and 1900's patterns. 5/8" seam allowances and grain lines have been added. These patterns were sized for the original time period so it is strongly recommended that one make a muslin mock-up to adjust to today's figure (specifically the waist) ...the ease and fit of the by gone days are not what we use for today's fashions!
This is a slip or undershirt (corset) for a young girl. Button closure at front with straps and gussets or slits below the waist. With original French sewing instructions and English translations included.
