Pro Tip #2: Reinforce a standard busk by adding a strip of white steel or an underbusk behind the closure. This increases rigidity at the center front, improving strength and preventing buckling under tension. While this adds stability, note that it can also reduce flexibility, so choose reinforcement based on your desired corset silhouette and comfort.
