1869 SHORT ENGLISH LEATHER CORSET - 27" BUST 19" WAIST
Ageless Patterns are reproductions from actual 1800's patterns. 5/8" seam allowances and grain lines have been added. These patterns were sized for the original time period so it is strongly recommended that one make a muslin mock-up to adjust to today's figure (specifically the waist) ...the ease and fit of the by gone days are not what we use for today's fashions!
This original corset was made of white english leather and the busk was covered by means of a flap of double material, which was stiched on the front edge of the right front.
